WELCOME to the season of Summer gardening.

Hello, once again.

The winter months are a distant memory now and we have got through the spring, which is our busiest season. Now we are settling into the very hot, dry mid-summer season. It is good to know that the Essex area is not suffering a hose-pipe ban - yet! Our mobile watering unit has been very busy watering our summer bedding schemes in the areas which have been affected by a hose-pipe ban. Lawns have to be left dry, but hopefully, with a bit of TLC in the autumn we will be able to make them look good again.

The drought has brought artificial lawns, (always a good colour and low maintenance!), to the forefront here at Dagenham Landscapes. Take a look at the photo gallery to see how we have included an area of artificial lawn in our show garden and also check out the pictures of one of our water features which I have mentioned before. It could be included in your garden or we could design and build a water feature to your specifications.

We are about to start a landscape project for our IT managers. Photos, in the gallery, show the initial preparations (now you know just how tough landscaping can be!) There will be more photos and information on the project as work progresses (this is one project that we need to go well, isn't it?).

If we can be of assistance, please, don't hesitate to contact us; or better still call in to see us at Redcroft Farm.

Happy gardening!

See you next season, Colin.
